I have often joked that when I am dead and gone the barn finds in the bike room will all be in perfect running condition ready to ride.
My 1996 FB has every factory part on it ready to ride anywhere right now.
So many EVO's were butchered . **** poor engine mods, trashed. it is sad.
My fatboy is not for sale . i have had people walk up and offer stupid money for it. Should my sons and grand children no longer care to ride . I will ask them to give it to a good deserving home rather than sell it to some flipper.

I'm going to contribute to this thread........................but its gunna be a long one, the list of expletives I used while getting my FXWG to a semi decent condition alone is 4 pages.
When I was shopping for a project because just like most of you, I can't stop tinkering with something, I found a 1950 Hydra Glide, with a 49 springer front end that had a Shovel hooked to a baker 5 speed transmission. Decided it was too much of a franken bike and I would be way over my head.
