Default Front hub spacer question

I have 99 softail night train. Have a fat spoke wheel I was going to put on the front. It has 1 inch sealed bearings. Already measured, cut and test fit wheel spacers to center up wheel. The wheel came with 1" to 3/4" reducers. My 3/4" axle would only be contacting the reducers in the bearings (not the 1" hub spacer that's in the wheel) Is this ok or do I need to replace it with a 3/4" hub spacer. Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty new to this stuff so don't take this as gospel. If the O.D. of the spacer is captured within the wheel fairly well (it doesn't wobble around without the axle in it) you should be fine. If there's a good bit of play you probably need a different spacer or a sleeve.

Concur, as long as it stays located between the bearings, seems like it should work.. a smaller 3/4 ID spacer would only fill the space between the axle adapters....

That's kinda what I was thinking. Reading around here just got me thinking about it. The reducers fit pretty snug in the bearings. I just want to make sure before I go cruising down the road. Thanks for the input guys.
