If this has been asked over and over again then point me in the direction of those threads but about a week ago I noticed that my shifter on my Fatboy wasn't returning. I called a couple of speed shops around my area and they told me it was a shifter pawl spring that had broke on me and that it would be a stupid expensive fix for a tiny little spring. how hard of a fix is it actually or do I have to make the walk of shame to a speed shop?
for better clarification I have a heel toe shifter but only use the toe end. when I push down to downshift it doesn't come back up and when I lift it up to upshift it doesn't come back down
