Default Front end wobbles…..😳😳😳

Ok guys new problem! I have a severe front end wobble above 75 mph. Just replaced tires and bearings front and back. My next starting place is neck bearings I think??? What else should I look into? I’ve got a big trip planed for Wednesday and need to get this thing tight. Thanks in advance!!!

Were the wheels properly balanced?

Did you have this severe wobble before you replaced your tires and bearings or did it start afterwards?

started afterwards. I took the wheels to them not the whole bike.

All of my steering wobbles have been the steering neck bearing being too loose. Follow the directions in the FSM. I kinda stopped having problems with that (and going through drive belts) when I kinda stopped pulling the front wheel off the ground.

I would also, just for the hell of it, jack the front up and spin the tire. Is it round? Nothing major out of round? Does it stop in the same place each time? That is, seem out of balance?

Yeah I’m fairly new into everything so usually double check things I may have over looked something. I’ve been known to do that sometimes🤦‍♂️

Dr. Hess has some good suggestions to work with. I'd add to that to check the swing arm bushings too. It's a 24 year old motorcycle, so unless some of these things have been replaced as a maintenance item, it would be good to check them as part of the process of elimination.
