With no recent posts, looks like you got it figured out. When a problem surfaces after you've done something on the bike. Retrace your steps. It's either the tire/wheel balance or something you did. Also make sure the tires are seated all the way on the bead. Look closely at the thin line on the tire and check its relationship with the rim lip. It should be the same all the way around. Sometimes you can have issues getting the rear wheel lined up to the same marks on both sides of the swing arm.
A long time ago my front end developed a terrible wobble. At least I thought it was the front end because that's what it felt like.
Turned out to be a couple of broken spokes on the REAR wheel. Hmm
So, my advice is to check out both the front and rear wheels for problems already mentioned by other posters.
Sorry guys thanks for all the help!! Turns out it was bad rear wheel bearing on the drive side. I appreciate all of the insight that was given. Got the ole girl all back together and is riding like new again.
