Do your homework, spend a few weeks watching caraigs list and the usual online bike sellers within a 200-300 mile radius of you to get a feel for real going prices. May not be your exact machine but you get an idea of what the local market's traffic & pricing is like.

It’s one thing to see what others ask for their bikes, it’s quite another to see what they actually sell
for. eBay, the Completed Items, will give you an idea.
