Throttle Position Sensor Search
I have a 97 FLHTCUI with a bad throttle position sensor and the regalements are not correct (made by Cycle Pro) Trying to find either new or used replacement that works.
Any Help would be Greatly Appreciated !!!

I copied this thread (attached) made by a forum member from down in the Fuel injection section. I found it by luck. There are no Throttle position sensors available. You may be able to revive yours. Follow the directions carefully and take your time.
Let us know the outcome.

ps: I just looked over the attachment. If it's too hard to read, go down to the fuel injection section and do a search by title to match the guys' posts' title. May be easier to read.

If I may ad to the above...I have never even touched a harley TPS, however, I do have experience cleaning an automotive TPS. That thread has good info. Bottom line the contacts inside the TPS can get oxidized. You need to get into the TPS so you can clean the contacts.
Some have taken the TPS apart carefully, cleaned, then reassembled. Some have drilled a strategically located hole so contact cleaner can be sprayed inside. Do a generl search on google for TPS cleaning for more info. I suggest you use Deoxit D5. It is good stuff and does what it says it does.

I don't know about your TPS, but the Buell TPS that I have on the Sportster has a Ford logo inside of the connector. I matched it up to some kind of V6 Mustang, old, maybe 80's or early 90's. At least the plugs interchange.

I was thinking kind of on the same lines, there has got to be a suitable substitute somewhere.

As stated, best option is to pull sensor apart, clean up the swiper film surface, then slightly tweak the swiper arms more outwards before you reassembly it so they make more contact with the surface film, before you put it back together.
If the swiper arms are worn out, or cracked off, you can use a PF3C sensor in the mean time until you can find a PF4/27271-95/S&S55-5058.
The PF3 has a slightly different ohm resistance curve than the PF4, but close enough to use if push comes to shove.

As for reinstalling the TPS on an Evo motor with MM,
Note, different resistance value used for base setting on the twin cam motor with MM.
