Help ....Throttle return at the sensor?
2015 RGS - Hopped on today and fired her up, noticed the RPM's were running at 2k at an idle. I rolled the throttle foreword past it's resting location and there's about 1/4" of rotation and the RPM's drop to normal. Yanked the grips............nothing going on here, but again rotating the small end portion w/ the teeth foreword dropped it back to where it's supposed to be however it snaps right back again. Any input appreciated !!
Not quite sure exactly what is happening, especially the part about snaps right back again.
Anyhoo…
Reset the TPS.
Turn ignition switch on for 10 seconds, then off for 10 seconds (Don't start engine).
Repeat a total of 4 times.
DO NOT TOUCH throttle while doing it.
