Default Alma's progress report

Life's good!!

I've managed to get 170+ miles on her so far. She runs like a top, I need to change the valve stem seals though. Should have done it before I put the engine back together...live and learn...lol a senior moment. She smokes a little on first fire, but it goes away after warm up. RATTLES....TONS OF RATTLES. I'm slowly working on getting them gone. Still don't have tags yet, been REALLY busy with the house sale. It's supposed to close on January 4th.
Today I finished getting everything out and into storage. Waiting for spring to move it up to Idaho for long storage.

I will be scheduling the VIN verification after the new year, and hopefully she'll be legal to ride by the end of January.

Congrats, I've been following and it's been a long time coming. I need to get a project Sportster in the shop and get going on an engine rebuild next month - hope it doesn't take as long.

Way to go. Good luck. Seems like I have been following Alma though births and deaths in my family.

Well done. You've really invested quite lot of time but it had been well worth it.
Idaho..... Best wishes!
