Default 1994 fxr

Hello. Just bought myself a 1994 FXR.with a relatively low 31,000 klms on it. (Australia).
I would be really interested to see a picture or two of how these bikes were originally delivered as I'd like to get it looking stock.
Anyone got a bone stock one with a picture would be great.
Cheers From the other side of the planet here in Tasmania.
Brad

This might be of some help:

Ebay has 1994 brochures for pretty cheap and here is a link to a 1994 online brochure with specs of all models at the end:

Thankyou for putting up that picture Racepres. It has cleared up for me where the rear indicators should mount to.
I noticed while looking at an online parts list that there were models that were made for overseas buyers.
I guess these models were different in some ways to bikes made for the U.S market. For example my 94 FXR has spoked wheels not cast ones and does not have those chrome look plastic side covers. I will put up a picture of it tomorrow as it is dark here now and there are lots of Tasmanian devils outside waiting to attack if I go out.

Those are Tin side covers... Aftermarket I think!! Indicators are indeed stock... My 1982 came with Mags but it is an FXRS...the FXR got Spokers..
I put Spokers on my '82 before I even brought it home...trying to Blend in with the older Cooler Kids...didn't work...the RubberGlide still got ridiculed!!!
There was Not an FXRS in 1994 only FXR and FXRP...that I know.. and I thought all were mags by then..
Will study that a bit, as the FXWG and the FXE (or maybe it was an FXB) got Spokers...so

There was a FXLR in 1994, too. They came with the solid Fatboy disc rear wheel and a 21 inch spoke wheel on the front.

Here are a few pics of the one I find myself with.
Obviously the handlebars have been changed plus forward controls added and I don't mind that.
I reckon the bike has been dropped at some stage due to the awful plasticy LED indicators (the rear ones look like they have been fitted by drilling 2 holes in the rear fender ! , WTF?,) plus there is a graze on the front brake master cylinder.

The exhaust pipes are held on by the 2 nuts at the exhaust port plus at a bracket where the 2 yellow lines are in the picture but the back part of the mufflers seem to be sort of hanging in mid air with no support, wonering if ther is a bracket missing perhaps.
Aside from that it seems to be quite a low mileage bike that is a welcome addition to my shed.
I would like to get a hold of some stock indicators at least.
Another thing that irks me is that there was no key for the steering lock (last picture). There are no numbers on the lock barrel and I am wondering if it is possible to source a key for it somehow?.
A few queries there but any comments appreciated.
Cheers
