Broken Oil Fitting 91 FXR

I’m in the middle of a rebuild/ restoration on my 91 FXRC.

I was prepping the bottom end for paint and decided to remove the oil and breather fittings. Just my luck the fitting broke and left the fittings in the case.

Any ideas on how to remove it? I’m no rush and would like to get this right the first time.L

Easy out, the common old style 4 flute work well on a brass plug.

Has Always worked for me...tho I am usually more careful than That!!
the shock from hammering the easy-out home helps loosen thread corrosion.. do Not however Gorilla the thing!!!

I prefer a left hand drill bit set. Have had more success with those.

eta: I have all of the above and some other stuff that I’ve used with marginal results. None as good as a reverse drill bit set
