Need to know the AH and CCA of the battery.. Not sure a ups battery is good for a starter battery.
Did you get the voltmeter from Target? Did you measure 11.2 volts at the starter while cranking? Does the bike sit outside?
after charging overnight still the same clicking at starter motor then nothing volt meter says 9.3 volts. will recharge it again before i take it to the auto elec for load testing but sounds to me its done with
i thought it was 6mths old but its 10 mths old

Even new batteries can have issues.
At 6 months old, if the battery was not maintained correctly, it could have sulfated.
Best to follow the logical path and rule out the battery first, then go to the troubleshooting mode for other issues.
I bought a new Duracell EXT20L at AutoZone Sept 2023, (99 EVO) later noticed the date sticker said 09/22.-a whole year old new. I was 80 miles from home so I overnight charged it and installed it anyway & it worked ok, I rode home, 80 miles but I knew a year of idle shelf life in-store had to be bad for it so I returned it locally & they gave me a new one date sticker 09/23. (btw Store clerk said no return because I said it started the bike. I had to persist til manager ok'd!)
btw warranty only 90 days all motorcycle batteries at Auto Zone here in Virginia - they think we are 'powersports'. So check date code.
