Yup...I do Believe that is correct...My Bad.. My '86 had a Torrington in it...But, I believed it was Replaced...probably an incorrect assumption!!
It is the only Pre-1990's Evo I been Into. The 1983 Shovel I have here Had an INA Bearing... but, Probably what the dealership gave them when they rebuilt it the first time...
Only the Bikes I have had from New...Follow the Rules...

FWIW:
The part number did not change, so if you try to get the old part number from the dealer, you will get the INA bearing.

The only place to get the Koyo B-138 is from the aftermarket, avoid Flea bay, too much risk of counterfeit junk.

Thanks for all of the insights, replies, etc. I have been out of town a couple of days. Looks like a few things to keep me occupied over the winter.

Gees, I thought I had a bad turn signal flasher. No, no, not a turn signal flasher for a couple of bucks...darn near a nuclear reactor they have called a Turn Signal Canceller Module at $236.00 and change! Used go for $150-250. No way. Buy once and cry once O.E.M. when I feel like shelling out the funds or converting to non-cancelling with two flashers. For now I took out the bulbs - my arms ain't broke. Those old manual turn signals probably work better anyhow!

Double check wiring, grounds, bulbs, and connections. They are often the cause of the turn signals not working correctly and the module gets blamed. Had similar issue with mine when I first bought it. It turned out to be just a bad ground at one of the turn signals. It could save you some $$

If all else fails, go with the aftermarket badlands module. Again will save you some $$, but it's just a timer module and not a timer/distance module like OEM. Still works just fine.

A bike shop has an aftermarket module but is not a drop-in for $75.00. It needs rewired in. Is the badlands a drop-in?

No not drop in but not difficult to install either. Instructions are pretty clear. Just need to wire it in properly. It's probably the badlands module they are selling. Instructions can be found online.

Mine had the badlands wired in when I purchased the bike used. Traced all wires, found the bad ground, removed the badlands module and the OEM module has been working fine for past 5 years or so.

When I replaced my OEM 1 wire rear turn only housings with a 3 wire run/brake,turn. from a Deuce
I kept the badland R/B/T module in and wired it so it controlled the brake/turns only.
It allowed me to have more lighting in the rear.
Brake and running lights instead of turn only.
