I say, What Ever Floats Yer' Boat! I think the bike is too much for him, he wants a foot clutch but is too intimidated so he also has a hand clutch as well. But like I said, What Ever Floats Yer' Boat!

As a kid I had a friend who had a panhead chopper exactly like the one you pictured, except it was light purple. In these days of fatassed tired bikes with the same cookie cutter look, itsgreat to see someone whup out some old skool stuff.I wonder how tough it was to find some of the parts though.Great job.

Has he figured out that using the throttle on and off it will eventually get the front wheel off theground from the front end flexing. Used to love doing that, back in the old days.

ORIGINAL: twobanger

One question.
Why?
If you have to ask "why" you would not understand.

Very cool, takes me back to my first HD a 53 Pan with a suicide shift. I am not a chopper person but that is a true chopper and a piece of art. Not the crap that OCC calls a chopper coming off of a assembly line.

You know riding these days suck compared to 10 or 15years ago or more when a person riding a HD rode it because it was a love of the machine and not the style of the day. Back then if one person was hurt or killed at Daytona everyone was sad. Today if 20 peopledie at Daytonait is a good year. Back then you never saw any problems with fellow bikersat Daytona, and the cops were pretty cool. Today to many think that they are outlaw Bikers because thay owna HD and have a attitude.

Sorry I went on your pic brought me back to better times, thanks.

For those of you that put this chopper down, you are the ones that I am talking about. The question was not what you prefer to ride but rather what you thought of this chopper and to compare it to other choppers. This bike is a piece of art, thank you for sharing it with me.
