I dont think thats a stock color.
The PINK referenced here is the base coat for RUBY red.

I said this is a factory paint job.

Back in the 90s haRley would release a few "custom colors" every once in a while. Before they had CVOs.

This was one of the custom paint jobs.

I would love to know the paint code.

I doubt that’s a factory paint job.

Look at the decals/emblems on the tanks. They’re misaligned.

In 1990 they made a Fine Silver Metallic code 98603 HP
They also made a Light silver 98603 FP
No mention of the Pink from 87-99

A local automotive paint vendor will have a analyzer having the ability to break down the pigment colors producing a paint code just by scanning the painted panel. I know a little bit about custom paint, a decal misalignment like the one pictured isn't going to come out of Harley plus the clearcoat will be thicker over the decal. Hopefully it's a 10 of 100,000 and the misalignment makes it a 1 of 100,000, a call to a Harley dealership with a vin and eager parts guy will reveal the answer

its a factory paint job.

this is a factory "custom paint"

very rare, but from the factory.

i dont know why i am getting so much resistance about this.

the decals are not "misaligned". its the angle of the photo, and there is a a left and a right, so they are not exactly the same.

i also know about the "analyzer", but i want to know the codes

attached are 2 1992 bikes with this paint, for reference. i know thats not "proof", but it really is.

FACTORY PAINT!!!!!

17:25 GET YA SOME OF THAT.

If it helps.. if that springer is factory.. then it’s a 90 or 91. That custom front aftermarket fender lowering kit is for the 90 & 91. Like my 90 that was stolen. That might help fine tune the year a custom paint was offered. You are correct they did that. I believe it was special order and dealer changed at purchase. A friend of mine did that. And the dealer received custom tins, and then swapped what was shipped. He ordered the whole bike new but it came not shipped with the “custom” painted tins.
