Why do people install after market oil filters, if the stock one is over kill? Myself I never like taxing the oil system, because I have never considered harley to be generous with that the equip their bikes with.
This thread has nothing to do with aftermarket oil filters.
The OP needs to relocate the oil filter mount; the original mounting location is not available because he has installed a later model transmission case and oil pan.

I should have phrased that better. I am very Leary of after market oil filter relocation kits. Since that is what we were discussing I thought you would know.
The "Old Evo Bagger" in first post tells me this one is too old for that oil filter mount on engine..sometime about 1991, or 2, me thinks.. but Don't remember

I believe 1993 was the first year for the engine mounted oil filter. 93 was the first year of the oil tank under the transmission.
