93 fltc. Replaced once but trans is still leaking all fluid out. Do i install the seal and then hammer the spacer in or install spacer and then seal? The spacer wont fit in the seal, last time i hammered it in and thought maybe that was why trans was leaking. Wondering if maybe there were 2 different seals for 93 or something else is wrong. The first seal I bought HD OEM from the local dealer, this seal is exactly same size but from James gasket. Trans doesn't seem to leak cold but after a ride it leaks pretty bad, maybe 6-8" puddle.

does anyone know if the upgraded drive pulley (with the locking/retaining plate) would use a different spacer and thus a different oil seal? This 1993 does look to have the upgraded drive pulley with the nut lock plate.
EDIT: just looked up a replacement spacer, the one listed as 2.25" shows fitment for a 94 fltc, not 93. Must be the upgraded front pulley does require a different spacer and I most likely need the main seal for a 94 fltc. I guess I shouldn't be surprised the first one leaked so badly after hammering that oversized spacer in. Going to run to the dealer tomorrow and take the spacer and unused seal and see if the late 94 or 95-up unit will fit. Should be 12067A I think.

what bike should take:
what is actually on there (probably related to the late 94 drive pulley):
Hopefully this info may help someone else avoid this issue (and 3 primary drive teardowns) in the future!
