I would search out a set of Pig Tails. They stop leaking forever. The insert goes in the cylinders oil return, and then the exposed tube goes through the base gasket and into the case. No leaks period.
I'm having good luck with the cometic single layer steel base gasket. It has a built in (stamped) ridge that puts constant pressure on the two mating surfaces. It is always under a little bit or "spring tension" so the seal stays constant even with the heat/cool cycle movement of the cylinder to base (block).
I see no reason why the pigtails or the hayden oil fix would be an issue or problem but never tried them. If you use it, let us know how it works out.

If I have to go in for gaskets, I might as well put them in I figure.
With OE base gaskets, I once pulled my heads @ 2k looking for a problem. Didn't find the problem, put the heads back on (new gaskets) ran it another 3000 miles till the problem showed itself. The base gaskets never leaked.
