Default best gaskets?

I have been a lurker here for a while and I finally have a question. I am going to be replacing the base gaskets on my 88 FLHS and installing the oil fix. I was wondering your opions on gaskets. Should I go with Harley or somthing like James Gaskets or Cometic?

I've used Cometic in the 3 rebuilds I have done and found them to be a great gasket. Never had one fail yet and I think there's 30,000 miles on one of the engines.

I've never heard of any coated metal base gaskets failing. I've got 65K on mine but can't recall if they're James or Cometic. I do tend to think that Cometic is a little better, but I don't think you can go wrong with either.

I have also purchased the Hayden kit and will intall it soon as my base gaskets start leaking. I also plan to fresehen up the top end and install my SE heads at the same time probably before bike week. What is wrong if anything with using the gaskets that came with the Hayden kit? My SE heads also came with a factory HD top end gasket set, anything wrong with using those? I'd like to have this job last for awhile.
