i would like to get the easy pull clutch kit for my dad for xmas. his 97 fxstc clutch pull alot harder than mine. will this kit make it like the newer bikes? anyone install a kit? if so,what kit did you use?

I was going to get one a while back because my clutch was making my hand sore, I bought a barnett easy pull clutch cable instead.
it was like 30 bucks and made it half as hard to pull. Its like butter now Just an option to consider...

 

I installed the one like Bulley makes on my 95 electraglide. It extends the arm where the cable hooks inside the trans side cover. Reduces the pull by about 40%, easy to install for less than $20.00. Really helps at ralleys where your in alot of traffic.

 

I put White Bros on both my bikes and couldn't be happier.

 

I have one also, works great and easy to install.

 

I would say try a new cable and readjust the clutch. You may be happy with the results. It is a 10 year old bike.

make sure you lube the old cable - that alone can make a world of difference. try it before installing the ez pull.
