Currently looking for shocks. Was told I needed narrow body shocks. Looked it up in my Clymer's manual, all the pic's are of the fatter shocks, with canisters and hoses. So I go to ebay to look for narrow shocks with canisters, but no can find. Question is, which will work? Both, either? If I buy brand new narrow body shocks, do I still need the canisters?

I've got narrow shocks on my 84. The cannisters are history as they were used for nitrogen storage for the old style big barreled shocks. The narrow shocks work great.
