Ok, we're all riding on 10+ year old bikes and I'm sure this has crossed our minds on occasion and we try to head'em off at the pass before they bite us. We carry tools, parts, and God knows what else. You read the twin cam forums and some of those pretty boys don't know how to check their oil let alone do maintenance or emergency repairs. That's why they buy new bikes. I read here, I think, of a guy that was dead in the water because of a cam shaft (or crank shaft) positioning sensor. What is this thing? Is it hard to replace? Is it worth replacing an old one that still works with a new one for insurance?I even run"Ride On" because a flat can ruin your day and be costly. What else am I missing that could leave us on the side of the road for the buzzards?
