To convert it could set you back over $500.00 new.Just sight from your stock trans cover up and down to get an idea if the crank will clear when kicked. There are a couple different style cranks.JP Cycles has a kit.Hope this helps.

Been thinking of putting one on my heritage. Ive seen a few with them and its a great retro part that really fits both bikes. Dog155 is right in the ballpark with the price. though you might get a deal on e-bay. Ive seen kicker kits sell for $250 USD. For me up here in Canada It cost a little more but would still be a deal. My understanding is its a pretty easy part to install. Sure be a nice touch though when your parked at the local watering hole and have to kick her over like they did in the old days. It be like a built in sobriety test.

The irony of a kicker is they are cool but they only work when no one is watching. I have a kicker on my 85WG but it's embarrassing when I try to use it. I've only had the bike a year and a half so maybe in a few years when I'm worthy the old girl will reveal her secrets.

My last bike 93" shovel SG was a tough one to kick. After a while learned when to not even try, just use the thumb. The rest of the time it was a 2 kicker.Take note some of the trans need to have one of the 2 shafts changed.I believe it is the late model ones.Good Luck
