Default 1991 Fatboy starting problem

Hi ,it sounds like a common problem in a few models. I just bought a 1991 Fatboy&nbsp\\; from the original owner&nbsp\\; with&nbsp\\; just over 10,000&nbsp\\; original miles. when the bike was loaded up it apparently started right up. After we unloaded it , the starter turned over with lots of power , but wouldn't fire.
The cables were all tight , a new&nbsp\\; battery&nbsp\\; charged right up.&nbsp\\; Now it&nbsp\\; just clicks. There is a recall on the starter relay ,&nbsp\\; and 30amp breaker .&nbsp\\; so I'm getting that looked.

what else could it be? very frustrated........&nbsp\\; bike is mint.......&nbsp\\; and I'm missing&nbsp\\; ALOT&nbsp\\; of&nbsp\\; riding

HELP&nbsp\\; please !!!

&nbsp\\;The Cables and starter relay is the way to start but i think if the 30 amp fuse is bad it wont click there would be no power to the relay or starter.... One step at a time

Not to state the blatantly obvious, but is the petcock still closed from transporting the bike?&nbsp\\; Make sure it's getting fuel and spark...

I have a 1988 heritage that has done this off and on for a few years now.&nbsp\\; The bike has been modified to except a 1991 starter and has a 1991 inner and outer primary.&nbsp\\; I have found that if I jump 12v from the battery to the starter to spin the starter briefly, the starter will engage and the bike will start when I push the start button.&nbsp\\; I am not sure how to check the jackshaft alignment but I think&nbsp\\;that might be my problem.
