Back into the starter.... Again!
2nd time in about 1000 mi.
First time was the last ride of the season last year. Warm motor, kicked back when starting, starter clutch pooched!
Yesterday, warm motor, kicked back on starting, stripped two teeth off the pinion gear [:@]! Guess since the clutch is near new, the next weakest link is the pinion gear.
I think the jetting is about right, idles good, starts up good with enrichner, runs great.
With a warm motor I just turn the throttle a bit and hit the starter. Usually starts in one revolution or less. Any ideas whats causing these occasional kick backs? This is getting expensive!

Starter kick backs are usually caused by too much ignition advance.Someone has a devise the disables the ignition for the first couple revolutions,to let the motor get rolling.Good Luck \\;
