Not bad depends on the Evo and what has been done to it.

Sounds a heck of a lot better than stock! I thought they only put out about 55hp stock, so to increase it by almost 30hp is a big difference. Sounds like a well chosen "suite" of mods.

Sounds a bit high but would depend a bit on your clearances and what was done to the heads as well ... not run of the mill for sure. Stock is pretty tame. The Thunder header depending on where you live may be a problem as it is pretty loud and not much in performance gain to some of the other choices (don't shoot). Pretty much did the same to mine, the Weisco choice was a good one for me, the Decker with the mods I did would pull the front end up and off if I gave it a good twist. I settled on the V&H as they were deeper rumble sound without the crack and still did make a difference in performance that was felt. Would also set off the beamer crowd car alarms if in town or a parking lot...Dyno'ed I was 79hp and 83 at the back wheel from a couple of free dyno's...For an 89 it was quick and fun. Good luck with it.

A Softail chassis will dyno about 5-6 hp lower then a Dyna. A good operator can make a dyno read whatever he wants it to. You didnt mention the carb, thats a great number for a stock carb, too great.

as far as the stock carb , i have seen a few bikes run 80 hp with a jet kit . bob wood can really work a cv over too but more than a jet kit with that .
