I agree one probably needs to be past the low end of the IQ spectrum to keep up with a paragraphlessentryduetotypingoniphonewhileonthetra msogobiteyourselfordothetexasthingofshootyourselfi nthefootandexcusethegun.
I type paragraphs an iphone all the time, with a loaded 357 on my hip. No need to be a dick and stoop to Tex's level. Really though? A really good friend of mine who is a member here also know's ol Tex and says he's a really good dude, so why not cut him a little slack?
Got to agree, but I would not have called it a mess, so this time we'll just shoot the phone.
Please appreciate the current Harley demographics - old guys, bad eyes - and paragraphize.
I never learned how to visualize what km per liter meant, only that I remember when the price of a gallon was less than a liter. I always thought it was just a con trick for the oil companies to hide how expensive fuel really was these days.
1 km/l = 2.35 mpg (US) so 30 km/l equals 70.5 mpg. You say 70 to 80 mpg!?!
I won't presume to offer advice, but I can report I have had a very positive experience with the Ultima 107 in my 1992 FXR. I have about 25,000 km (approx, as a dakota digital gauge had to be replaced a while back). No problems with the engine. Lots of power (do not need more). Fuel mileage is mid to high 30's or 40 km/litre. Much better on open road, but I commute in crappy traffic and under those conditions not great (VH short shots don't help). She does like to chew oil............. Some no idea, of course. In the end, my 107 has +25k Km's with no engine issues at all, and that is under wide ranging conditions (canada cold and Auusie heat). I appear to be subscribed to this thread so can reply to other questions. Cheers. And how about those Wallabies!
Many Thanks NoLabel. Good personal experience. Much appreciated. And dont see the wallabies with much of a chance but would be nice. My side is the boks but thats gone now
So if I understand that mess correctly you blame your phone for your post.
Do you blame forks for fat people?
Do you blame pencils for misspelled words?
Maybe you should learn more about your phone.
This post was written on a smart phone.
Careful grammar ***** are out in force. I appreciate the advice and taking the trouble to post.

I think the All Blacks will beat us too.
PS: and I meant to write 40mpg open road (18km/L). Not great, but not sure what we expect with high compression engines. I think the relatively poor mpg of my Ultima is more to do with carb setup, V&H short shots, and an as-yet-unidentified drag in the drive train.

I'm inclined to agree with your point. I should have turned the other cheek. But we don't always show our best side, do we? Especially when someone is being a ****** for no reason. So I returned serve, and if the dude can't take it, don't dish it.

You are wise not to visualise, as the metric way of measuring fuel consumption is litres per 100km!
