Default Fat boy solid wheels on my 90 FLHTCU?

Does anyone know if I can put those solid Fat Boy wheels on my Ultra? And if so, what mods or adjustments would need to be made?

Thanks.

mjunk1,
for timken bearing wheels it just a straight change out. (i think)

for sealed bearing wheels :
The rear is no problem. use the fat boy rt spacer- 1/2" and i think its 1- 1/8" spacer on the pulley side. the brake disc has to be shimmed about 1/16-1/8". the pulley has to be shimmed a fraction, can't remmeber the exact amount. I wrote it down some where. The front spacer on the rt side is 7/8" and the speedo unit i cut to 7/8". if you use the new front rotors you will have to cut a slot for the speedo unit to sit in. this is subject to error so it may be that you have to use spacers for your application. this is what i used when i put them on my 90 ultra. i am running streetglide wheels on my 90 ultra at the present time. same spacer sizes.

i did mount a brake disc on the fatboy wheel by removing the rt side wheel cover . there are threaded holes on rt side.

Paco, I'm trying to get 2000+ wheels on my 97 FLHT. Think all issues are resolved except the front speedo sensor. Would appreciate any more details on how you managed to get yours to fit.

Johnny Q,

remove the speedo drive unit and cut the unit down (on the side to the wheel) to 7/8". I used a hacksaw and a file to smooth it up. the total lenght of the speedo unit will be 7/8"...or take it to a machine shop and let them turn it down to 7/8". file or grind a slot in your 2000 disc for the speed unit clip and reinstall. the other spacer will also be 7/8" on the right side while sitting on the bike.

sorry for the delay but i have been busy on my 95 project. Hope this gets u going.
