89 Evo misses

Default 89 Evo misses
I have not ridden for a while, so today I dusted her off and went for a very short ride. She kept on missing. I am not sure but I think she was coughing out the carb. I did not hear any back firing from the pipes.

I started with the easiest first I changed the plugs. Still missing badly.

What would you recommend next? And then after that?

how long has it been since its been running? maybe bad fuel if its been a good long while. i would put some good hi octane fuel in it and try that first since the plugs didnt help.

It did have bad gas so I replaced all of the gas including in the float bowl.

I'd pull the low speed jet out and clean the orifice ( CV carb ?) They tend to close up in bad gas

I have the SS Super E carb. Should I have cleaned something more that just the float bowl?

Pop the bowl off and clean out the intermdiate jet Remove and give it an air shot
