I put the NGK iridiums in mine this time and have about 5,000 miles on them. I am getting a smoother idle and faster starts from them for sure. I think I will stick with them. Not sure if it is my imagination but I am happy with them.
I use Autolite coppers, they just work well and last along time. For an EVO it's 4164 or a little hotter would be 4165. I know you asked about iridium, just wondering why you want or need them?
I know a few Harley owners who use the NGK plugs, and they like them. I've been using the stock Harley (Champion) plugs since I've owned the bike, about three years now. I never really had any issues with them, just looking for a possibly better performing plug. I have a Screamin' Eagle ignition. Are the NGK's better to use than the HD plugs for this ignition? Thanks for the previous replies.
