I am running 07 streetglide wheels on my 90 FLHTCU. and 06 Roadglide wheels on my 95 Flhtcu. 07 - 6 spoke on my 99 roadglide. here is what i did. should be the same with wire or cast wheels. i bought 2000+ rotors and used my pulley on the rear after making the center home an eighth of and inch bigger. the rear disc will have to be replaced because it will no fit the newer wheels, totally different. read and if you have any questions , pm me. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/evo-c...ghlight=wheels

Reason: more info.
I would think your sproket will work. probably will have to enlarger the center hole. the center of the new wheels are a little bit larger than the pre-2000 wheels. as i said u will need the brake rotor for the rear also.
my bike is chain drive will i need a new sprocket or will mine work
front rotors are ok but not the back
i have an in-closed chain now but I'm planing on changing to a sealed o-ring type chain when i do the wheel change this winter
i have the same bike as yours, let me know hot the new chain works out... i was thinking about changing mine to belt but sealed o-ring might be good too...

Hi, do you know what would it take to mount a 17 " Deuce rear wheel on my 99 fxstc which is a 16" x 3" ANY help greatly appreciated ,need to know asap getting chrome rear for christmas and love the look of the Deuce wheel !!!

That was useful info! I am fitting a post-02 wheel to my 90 and the old wide pulley needs the centre hole to be machined out a little to fit the newer wheel.
Friend of mine did the change over you are wanting to do. if my memory serves me, he put the wheel under no problem, but the brake had to be disassembled and then reassembled once the wheel was under the bike. this was an 2003 softailcustom. sorry i am not much help, i didnt do the work. but he did run the duece wheel until he sold the bike. maybe find the wheel and the brake from a duece ?
I am not using the lower legs from a sg. i changed the 1 " bearing to the 3/4" bearings, cut the speedo unit to 7/8" and the spacer to 7/8" remounted the wheel and rode.
