Default rear swingarm upgrade

has anyone tried the Rivera Primo Stiffey on the swing arm? or the Custom Cycle engineering swing arm retrofit kit? I don't think I really have that much of an issue with it, but until I ride with something different, I just might not notice the wallowing. this is the way it always was. I am thinking of doing one or the other. the Custom Cycle being more expensive and involved to put on. But I also hear you end up with more vibration being transmitted through. Living in the middle of the prairries means there is not a lot of twisties, so less vibration may be a good exchange for stiffer suspension in the twisties.

Installed the CCE kit on my 93 FXLR about a year ago. A little more vibration perhaps, but not really that bad. The upgrade also consisted of installing Progressives 418 rear shocks and the Racetech Gold Valve Emulators with Progressives 1 " lowering kit in the front end. The bike tracks like it's on rails up to 120mph and the rebound on the front and rear is now totally adjustable. The ride is not harsh and there is no more wallowing in the turns. I'd highly recommend the CCE kit if you are going to do the work anyways. A word of caution though. Make sure you fit the included races to rear of the transmission per the instructions before the red locktight sets up.

If your concern is handling, wouldn't the "Tru Track" be cheaper and easier?

CCE swing arm and the retro fit kit goes to the root of handling problems, where as the trutrak, and products of the like, are more of a bandaid....
