Thanks Scott
thats not bad, its a pretty messy and a pain on the floor so if your not a wrench its a good deal. Consider its 1 qt of fluid, new chain, gasket and labor. Open primary drives are soooooo much easier, no mess, gaskets or covers to pull, everything is right there in front of you.

And don't get me started on parts counter guys!
The counter guys at the local H-D dealer used to be a bunch of older guys who really cared and knew their stuff. But after the dealer moved from its old building to the new "glitter dome" it's now staffed with kids that only know how to look parts up in the parts manual. No advice given.

It's a shame it's come to that...They all work commission today and not by the hour...It used to be different years ago..

The current market brings in the BIG bucks....It doesn't take a college education to figure out why it has become what it is.....

Thanks for the replies guys. A good bike mechanic in Nebraska is a rare find, if somebody knows one let me know.
We have a good dealer here but they barely even know what an EVO is. Just want to sell me something new, and that's not what i want.
