'Quiet' is a subjective/relative thing. You can get a set of SuperTrap slip-on's and run 8 discs in them. Although not as quiet as the stock mufflers, they will allow the engine to breath better. Which is what you need to do, in order to get more power out of the 80" EVO.

I had thunderheaders on my '94 EVO and replaced them with the Supertrapp tunable slip ons. They are nice and quiet in the neighborhood and bark when I get on them. The best part was my Hp rating stayed at 87, same as the thunderheader. I asked them to tune the mufflers to the quiet side and my Tq dropped from 92 to 87. He said if I want the Tq back they could change the increase the discs and get it back.

I am very happy with the exhaust and would buy them again.

I've got B&E Superflows, they're quiet when I want them to be But bark low and deep when I get on it. I have the 2" baffles, they have 1.75 and 2.5 inch (quieter and louder)
