Default ring rebreakin

Ok guys I've had the 89 flhtp apart several times now since a crank up rebuild, all related to cylinder studs or in that area. So this time around while putting it back the rings got spun out of original position a bit so I restaggered them, I noticed the top of pistons were carboned up pretty evenly across which told me the rings had seated in ok previously. Question is will it make a differnce on the rings seating in this time around with me restaggering them? I had probably 2000 miles on the motor.

It shouldn't as the rings move around on their own as the engine is running.

Perfect thankyou. There was still cross hatch in the cylinder walls anyway.
