Thanks guys for the posts, I have to say it’s a great bike!!! It’s my 3rd Dyna. I have owned a Dyna T Sport and a 07 Dyna Custom. They are all great bikes and all have good and bad points.
This is my favourite dyna by far, ok it does not have 6 gears, it has skinny forks…………… what it does have is lots of soul, I sold a 09 Night train to buy this, again that was a great bike. I love to have work to do on my bike’s, the newer bikes are so reliable and easy to ride I found I didn’t have the same attachment to them as many older bikes I have owned.
As a teenager I always wanted a Harley although my mates wanted GPZ’s and the like, it took many years to afford a Harley and after owning 4 before this one I have found just what I wanted all along, I am a happy man.
Nice bike, and a good find. from another Brit down in Kent
Being from Kent, do you possibly know another Harley rider named Bernie Hildreth??? He is a good friend who retired and moved to France and is gravely ill right now.
I paid Ł6500.00 which is $10114.00, sound a lot well things are expensive in the UK just to put this into perspective a new DYNA Custom with metallic paint has a list price of Ł11495.00 which is $17845.00, thats before the dealer sell you any extras!!
To you John, seeing as I know you, call it 8k bucks! Cash only....
Added later:
Seeing ionhd's figure you can see the premium we pay for our Harleys over here in the UK! List price for a new SuperLow here is Ł6,400, in the USA it is $8,000, but the price we pay with current exchange rates is $10,000.
