Adjustable push rod question
I understand setting up adjustable pushrods when the tappets need to be left to bleed down.
My question is when fitting NEW hydraulic tappets/lifters how should the pushrods be set?
I assume new tappets will not bleed down; therefore I think that adjusting them so there is no free play in the valve train would be the best way to go, please give me your advise on this subject because I am not sure.
I soaked mine for a while before installing them. I think there going to pump up as soon as you start the motor anyway although they may be noisy for a second or two.
