New bike this weekend
I am excited. Picking up a 94 springer with 14,000 miles on her Friday or Saturday. Bike is spotless. I sold my 06 heritage so I could free up some cash. Now I can finally get a springer I always wanted AND get a sporty project for me and my sons to enjoy. Pics soon hopefully.
To be honest with you I was rather bored with my twin cam. I had an evo before and really missed it.

I know. My bike was good but just didn't have the feel if you know what I mean. I am also happy that I can pop a cam in it right away with out a massive amount of work.

That is what I aim to do. I have done it once with the help of another and have a buddy that can do it in his sleep. But first I need to ride her some. Can't wait to get back to the basics. Everyone is giving me a hard time like I am stepping back but oh well.

Congrats on being back on an Evo. One of my buddies has a 87 fxrc and he plans to sell it and build a TC hardtail, I told him it anint going to be the same.

The TC are fine motors but they just aint the same. I consider myself a sort of young guy (34) and I meet riders all the time older than me who don't know nothing about evo's and shovels etc. They are missing out for sure. And don't get me started on how complicated they are. Sure things break but the older bikes you can just fix it on a Saturday and then get back to riding.
