I have a 1990 FLHS that I have put a bat wing fairing on and updated the saddlebags. So now what do I have (other than a mutt) would it be an FLHT or what?
any thoughts?
That's exactly right, love that...........worth a 1000 words!
Graham's bike is a perfect example of your question. It will always be a "S"
I actually have become real fond of the b-wings and with my winter lower wind deflectors nothing is better. Summer I remove the tall shield and deflectors and have a SG look. Like owning 2 bikes, winter and summer versions. A course this fricking summer didn't come around until last week up here in Winterfelt near the wall! I had a fire in my stove on Jun 3rd, personal record.
Now we sorted out the name for your bike, what have you done to update your saddlebags?
I moved the battery under the seat, changed the right side oil bag cover, and mounting hardware, put later model hard bags with hinged lids rather than the removeable lids. Gave me a lot more room in the right bag plus I wont be loosing lids on the freeway (i hope). Bike is apart as we speak for body repair. I was rear ended at a stop light on my way to the red wood run in California. Pictures when Im done with the repairs.

Thanks for the imput

That will be great, thanks. Best of luck sorting out the poor old lady's damage!
