We wanna see pix!! And I know this has been asked before, but when are you painting your batwing/bags/trunk or tank/fenders/side covers?
The fender has only just set off from the States, still waiting on news of progress with the wheel, so it will be a while before they get to me. I may then go into a darkened room to see if this will all work before saying any more!
With my big tank and wide fender the bike will once again become Jacob's coat of many colours, the tank being black and the fender grey. Decent paintwork costs a bomb, which is why I went the birch white route last time, when the batwing was coffee and cream, the tourpak black and silver. I may just take a photo from the rear so you can all enjoy the many colours!
Post up progress pics as you go, GR.
I'm wondering how you are going to deal with belt clearance from the wider tire. Of course there is always A WAY if you are determined, eh?
(also wondering if you can out colour NGH and his multi-hued black beauty)

I have the later narrow spec belt, also later wheel. The narrow pulley is spaced further away from the hub than on our early Evos, so clearance to the belt is generous, even with my 150/80 tyre. My 'new' wheel has yet to leave the US, so it is going to be a while before I can trial fit it (also tinkering with Buell and Sportster at present!), to see what clearance I actually have. I also have spacers I can use if necessary.
I'll leave the coat of many colours for now! The wheel depends on the 'new' fender, so there is no certainty this will happen. More news as it breaks.
