Default 1990 Electra glide shock help please

I am not sure if the upper bolt goes through the rear fender, and if it does, is there a bushing that goes between the fender and shock? Can somebody help me please? A picture of it would be nice.
Thank You

On my FLHS the shock bushing/bolt goes through the shock and frame, but does not go through the fender. The bolt goes through the fender and screw into the shock bushing/bolt. There is nothing that goes between the bushing/bolt and the fender as far as I know. Hope this helps.

On my 1988 FLHT there is a spacer approx. 5/16"thick between the frame and the fender. Sorry I can't seem to get the picture to post.

I was wrong on the "spacer", there is a spacer between the frame and fender. Normally the rear rack is in place, which has the spacer built onto the rack. I removed the rack on mine and had to add one to the bike. Got them from HD, they are not the right ID but that measurement isnt really very critical. K9r was right with the 5/16 measurment.
