Lifter Deactivators
Can't say this the real engineering behind them but what I've seen and knowing the nature of the beast we ride I believe it goes like this . Low rpm they act like a hyd. unit as rpm and oil pressure increase the solid aspect comes into play to prevent a weak lifter from bleeding off or collapsing basically maintaining the full travel and valve lift specs . Don't hold me to this but that's what the specs say to me anyway .

I hope your kidding because this Shovel was a mere 98 inches. Built by one of our forum members, Kirby Apathy (prodrag1320). This bike ran 11.90@113 spinning the tire threw first and second. She burned more Evo's, Twinkies and V-Rods than you could shake a stick at. Though the stage one V-Rods would give her a serious run for the money. Don't think for one second that just cause its got cast iron barrels that it can't stomp the **** out of an Evo.

I'll second that motion had a bunch of Evo riding buddies quit riding with me when mine was only 88" when their phase 3 kits came up short and I've taken 8 out of 10 twinkies that have tried her on for size since I went 93"
. I know a couple panheads that are real scary still , nice having pride in your ride and all but a healthy dose of reality doesn't hurt either .
I mentioned earlier that one the graybeards Shovel that we ride with is just plain out bad and if you stick with him , you better have some ***** to run thru the last gear and then drink some Jose Q win or lose, You can win and still lose with these old codgers.
I resemble that remark !! Jack Danial's that other stuff makes me mean and 10' tall .
Graybeards call it fighting the Spanish-American war when Jose comes out and it's always the little guys you have to watch for when they are 10 foot tall and bullit proof, big guys know they will fall and hurt themselves.
