Classic Evolution?
No "poll" button so I guess this will have to be done the old way.
I'm just wondering what is considered a "classic" Evo, in your mind.
"POLL" question:
What year Evo is considered a "classic"?
1984-1989
1990-1994
1995-1999
I would have to say 1984-1989. The rest are just too new.

When HD ends up going watercooled on all there motors, everything air cooled will become a Classic Harley.

Au Contrair....More and More parts for all these bikes are being 'obsoleted' by The MoCo. And finding a good wrench that can work on an EVO is getting as difficult as finding someone that knows what a Shovelhead is. Which is the comparison I like to make, most EVO owners do all their own wrenching...Just like the Shovel owners do.

I spoke to my local dealer last week and was told that Harley Davidson will not be stocking any parts for bikes after 5 years of the warranty period running out for a particular model. That is supposed to start next year here in Australia. So I guess it will be coming to a U.S. Harley dealer near you

Last bikw was an 84 FXR, current bike is an 89 FLHT
So 84 to 89 are the "classics!"
Hell, there are enough companies out there making parts for evo's that we should be good to go for a very long time.
