Sounds fuel related.S&S are easy to adjust...redadjust the idle and mixture screws...and confirm that the voes is working.If it cold oudside and its a "cold start" ,pull Choke/enrichner all the way up,no throttle..If its warm and a "cold start", 5 or 6 squirts .just a guess.Also if you know the battery is good,new cables and connections is the way to go.Ive got a '92 and all electrical parts have been replaced after 55,000 miles even though they were ok.

Well it turned out be be a few things with the starting problem I had. The starter it self was ok. I replaced the starter drive, the starter relay and solenoid and
blamo it fired right up no stalling. got the Super E carb rejeted and tuned, I am good to go :-}
