Default Would an evo engine be a direct replacement in a 82 fxr frame?

I am going to look at a 82 fxr with an evo motor in it. What I'm trying to figure out is if he had to modify the frame at all to accept the evo? And would I have any problem bolting in an ultima motor. Thanks in advance!

The FXR frame was designed from the start for the EVO motor. When the shovel was in the frame, there was a big space between the heads and the bottom of the frame rail.

The frame wasn't probably modified but as far as a bolt in replacement it could be done. Little odds and ends would be changed like comp sprocket and not necessarily but hopefully they updated the primary setup and clutch
