1988 Evo 1340. Road in Cali last week. Brought it back to Missouri let it set for less than a week. Went to ride and Merry Christmas it won't start. This bike has never missed beat till now.
Has Blue spark. SS super E feeding gas like a champ. Won't even hint of firing.
Only run name brand Premium fuel. Cleaned plugs and checked gap even though they look good. Any Ideas would be great.
Get new plugs
Turn gas off (disconnect vacuum pipe at tap if need be)
With plugs out and ign module disconnected, crank motor over for several seconds
Replace plugs
Reconnect ign module
Turn gas on
Start bike
New plugs started right up. Go figure, I think the Grench tried to steal my Christmas ride. Thanks to all and to all a good ride.
Evos have a thing about plugs, they have to be perfect but your bike might have flooded while sitting, be good to check float height and the float needle.
