Default 1996 evo primary removal

Going to pull the primay off and replace all the shaft seals and gaskets throughout the primary. Any special tools required? My friend (his bike) has a manual on order but we are trying to get prepped in advace.

I was mostly curious if there was anything special needed for pulling the stator out to get to the shaft seal behind it.

Thanks

No pulley needed for stator removal but there are some really tight bolts in there. Eat your wheaties

Just remember about the direction for the clutch retaining nut.
