Default Sissy bar/back rest question

I sold the tour pack and tour pack mount off of my 1995 Electra Glide Ultra. I now have a "affordable" Steet Glide but am looking for a back rest and pad so the ole lady can still ride. Any suggestions or part #'s?? My local HD dealer couldn't help me...seems like everything pre 1997 is a hard find. Any help would be appreciated.

Most late model stuff will fit. However the 97+ fender is a little wider, so you have to shim the removable mounts with a washer or two!! That's what we did with ours when we went with a removable tour pack, the sissy bar/back rest mounts the same way so it should be no problem, plus you would be able to remove it as an option. Hope this helps.

Default Sissy Bar

Thanks miacycles. Let me get this straight...if I order a 97 touring sissy bar set up, it will work on my 95 with just a few spacers? My rear fender is exposed with no crossbar in between so how does it mount? Do I need to have a quick disconnect set up? Sorry for all the questions, just need to make sure I get what I need to make this work.
