You did a great job, both bikes are perfect. Strange though I always heard the flh's had a better long distance comfort ride because the fairing is attached seperate from the forks.

Also the rectangularish metal piece from frame to fairing connector, and the lower chrome pieces that bolt onto the crash bar and outside edges of the fairing, for all intents and purpose's, the whole enchilada.
I would say, 275ish and actual shiping, which would be guessing around 60-80 because of the size.
Also have brake side lower fairing with glovebox, these are removed when the dealer does the sidecar, reaally no need to keep it around.
Also the stock mufflers, which I would throw in free on the first deal, but that would probably cost 30 to ship.
I'll take all but the mufflers, I have some modified stockers! Always liked the shark fairing. Let me know how you would like to handle it, I'm in no hurry, since mine is still apart.

Meh, six of one 1/2 dozen another. Guys that like the flt really like the flt. There is probably some truth to better stability w the fixed fairing. I was lokking to make a fashion statement.

How hard was it to update your fairing? I have a 95 FLHT and want to just install a newer fairing for new gauges and so it'll accept newer windhsields etc...

Well, not too tough. I stripped the flt stuff all off.
Got 2000 ish upright brackets, and speaker brackets. I used mid 90's speedo and tach, the other stuff i reused ( air p, volts, etc). Inner and outer fairing were 2000ish, ive heard after 07 or 08 the fairings changed, but I dont know for certain. Manufacturer's dont like to redo all their dies, so I kind of doubt it.
Your flht probably has the same style guages as my flt, and they wont fit anything else, except the small ones.
Chop off the connectors going to your guages, leave 3" or so, so you can build a new harness going to your new guages. The colors will pretty much stay the same, blk for ground, orange wht for + for lights, yellow for fuel guage, etc. You will see if you decide to do it.
if you go late model hd radio, get e-glide goodies harness, stay away from hk radio unless you are stephen hawking.
Stay away from the hd speedo w digital odometer's, analog is your friend here. Tach shouldnt matter, but youll want them to match.
You will have to get a 4" longer speedo cable if you get the later hd cd player, as its physically larger than the old cassete radio. If you do this, you will see what I mean.
Most of this flh front end crap hasnt changed drastically over the years, just in 98 when thy went to the digital odometer/speedo drive of the ecm.
Not really alot to it, just part scrounging on the bay or at swap meets.
