Default HELP! think i hit a dead end

I have a 95 flhtc. Just went to the dealer and ordered the detachable tour pak mount and the docking hardware for 97-08, reading on here somewhere that the docking hardware will work no problem with a few washers for spacing issue. now the problem! the 95 seat bolts to the oem tour pak bracket! I cant ride without a seat, any solution to the only year they didnt bolt the seat to the fender? i know ive seen a 95 on here with tou pak removed but how?
sorry for the book but hard to explain

You need to go to your dealer and get the peice that goes through the fender of a later model and the ring that holds it in place. Then goe to lowes and get a plastic spacer plus an allen head bolt that is nong enough to reach. I will take a picture of my '95 and post it for you later. Hope this helps.

Harley's version, they work but buy a spare, they tend to fall off

Aftermarket version...once you get it on your done

Either way 5 minute mod...or an hour if you have to take the rear tire off

ya def will need a spacer looks like the tab will end up couple inches off the fender, does the hole you drilled line up ok for a mustang or maybe a RK seat?

Here are a couple of shots, hope they help. I used a plastic spacer for a few reasons, first it's easier on the paint and secondly it compresses just a bit and that puts enough tension on the fastener to prevent it from loosening. To toghten it down I got a long screwdriver like, ball end, hex driver that I magnetized so that the allen and washer would stay attached. Before you drill put a couple of layers of tape on the fender to prevent scratches,e a center punch, and drill square with the seat bracket.
Save yourself some money and just send your stock seat to Mean City Cycles and have them re-do it. I had mine done and have done a couple of 1,000 mile pluss days in the saddle no problem. They do great work, just tell them what you want and listen to their suggestions and you should be happy. Hope this helps.
